The Kings Innovation Council seeks to facilitate an increasingly innovative environment in Kings County through interaction with the community, government, industry and the outside world, while building sustainability and skill capacity and raising the profile of innovation. In many cases, innovation is stalled due to a convoluted pathway. Market development, business development, financial investment and research resources need to have the appropriate and timely links necessary for innovation.
This project seeks to:
-
Encourage the community to become engaged in innovation.
-
Create new innovative synergies.
-
Create measurable impacts and benchmarks.
-
Develop new linkages; both internal and external.
-
Build new innovation capacity in Kings County.
-
Establish a sustainable innovative environment in Kings County.
The Kings Innovation Council believes the best place to start a change within the County is to start with the individual. This cultural change will develop a positive attitude that results in inspiration and becomes innovation.
